Here are the needed modifications when using a 7.3 / 6.9 ZF5 , 460 ZF5 , or 7.3 Zf6 with a Cummins B series 12v or 24v engine , including the 4bt .
The 6.0 starter needs this casting tab on the side cut off ..
The Engine Block needs about 3/4″ of the lower casting ear cut off to clear the starter .
